Here’s what Gus Malzahn had to say after Auburn finally notched a win against non-conference opponent San Jose State:

On Sean White throwing downfield: “I feel very confident.” On ball security: “We have to correct [ball security]. [White] has to protect that football. He’s not a running back… We need to do a better job of that in the future.”

Malzahn looking forward: “The off week couldn’t have come at a better time. Much needed to heal up and clean some things up. It’s a good win against a quality opponent and we have some momentum heading into the second half of the season.”
