National Signing Day is finally here. Coaches around the SEC and all over the country will be sitting by the fax machine hoping that all their commits put pen to paper. Some coaching staffs already have their top pledges on campus as early enrollees, but many won’t be able to exhale until the fax is in.

As the day begins, here are the current top-rated commits on all 14 teams:

Alabama

5-star RB Najee Harris (247Sports Composite score: 0.9982)

When Harris took the plane from the U.S. Army game in San Antonio to Birmingham, he was the highest-rated signee for Alabama this century. His 247Sports Composite score has gone down a bit, but that doesn’t mean Crimson Tide fans should be any less excited about having Harris on campus.

Nick Saban has signed a lot of great running backs in 10 seasons in Tuscaloosa, including two Heisman Trophy winners, but none have been rated as high as Harris.

Arkansas

4-star S Montaric Brown (0.9286)

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State had interest in pulling the No. 1 recruit out of Arkansas, but Brown declined to take those visits and stayed loyal to the home-state Hogs. He committed to the Razorbacks on July 28 and has the announcement tweet pinned at the top of his profile. Arkansas returns solid experience in its secondary, but fans can keep an eye out for No. 21 this fall.

Auburn

5-star OT Calvin Ashley (0.9865)

The Tigers got a commitment from Ashley on May 30, 2015, but it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. The Orlando native who moved to Washington, D.C., his senior year had shown late interest in Florida and Maryland, but Gus Malzahn and staff were able to keep Ashley pledged to the Plains.

Ashley is an important get for Auburn with offensive linemen Alex Kozan, Robert Leff and Xavier Dampeer all departing. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound Ashley should be ready to step in at right tackle.

Florida

4-star DE Zachary Carter (0.9382)

Gators defensive line coach Chris Rumph likes his defensive ends tall and lean, and that’s exactly what he’s getting in the 6-foot-5, 250-pound Carter. The Gators return some experience at defensive end in 2017 with Jordan Sherit, Keivonnis Davis, Cece Jefferson, and Jabari Zuniga, but the latter two both demonstrated that freshmen defensive ends can see the field if they impress Rumph in practice.

Georgia

5-star OT Isaiah Wilson (0.9904)

The Bulldogs are getting an incredible mix of size and agility in Wilson. The 6-foot-7, 350-pound lineman moves well enough to play Wildcat quarterback for his high school team. Jacob Eason and Jake Fromm should feel great about having Wilson on the line for the next three seasons helping give them a clean pocket. He’s also in quite the hurry to sign his Letter of Intent.

Kentucky

4-star ATH Lynn Bowden (0.9307)

Bowden is a true athlete, as he’s shown the ability to play quarterback, running back, wide receiver and cornerback. He’ll most likely be a wide receiver or running back, but the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder out of Youngstown, Ohio, gives coach Mark Stoops plenty of options. Bowden’s Jan. 14 commitment was a big boost to what is shaping up to be Stoops’ best class.

LSU

5-star S JaCoby Stevens (0.9897)

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound safety out of Murfreesboro, Tenn., had his pick of SEC powers with 31 offers, but he was sold on LSU by the opportunity to play for secondary coach Corey Raymond.

“I’ve said in interviews, I’ve said to LSU if Corey Raymond was there I’m going to go. When they signed him that was a done deal for me,” Stevens said at the Under Armour All-America Game.

Raymond got an extension and raise, and Stevens, No. 18 in the class, is already enrolled in Baton Rouge.

Mississippi State

4-star QB Keytaon Thompson (0.9258)

Bulldogs coach Dan Mullen has proven he knows how to get the most out of dual-threat quarterbacks, and Thompson hopes to be the next great MSU quarterback who can sling it or run for the first down. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound signal-caller from New Orleans surprised recruiting experts by picking Mississippi State over LSU. The Hail State faithful can get a look at him this spring, as he’s already enrolled.

Missouri

3-star ATH Daron Davis (0.8875)

Davis is labeled an athlete on the recruiting services, but he’s expected to be a wide receiver for the Tigers. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Kansas City product has been committed to MU since Nov. 6, 2015, the day before Gary Pinkel announced his retirement. Other schools have come calling, but Davis has stayed loyal to his pledge.

Ole Miss

4-star WR D.D. Bowie (0.9369)

Bowie committed to the Rebels on Oct. 24, 2015. With National Signing Day here, he doesn’t sound all that committed, having recently visited Mississippi State and apparently giving it serious though.

“I really don’t know where I want to go,” Bowie told 247Sports’ Paul Jones last week. “I am going to visit Ole Miss and see how that goes. I should know after this weekend and then announce on signing day.

Both schools can expect to see plenty of the 6-foot-1, 170-pound wideout in upcoming Egg Bowls.

South Carolina

4-star CB Jamyest Williams (0.9632)

The Loganville, Ga., product has received a hard push from Georgia, but for now, he’s South Carolina’s highest-rated commit. The Gamecocks got in the last visit with the 5-foot-9, 170-pounder. Head coach Will Muschamp and defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson have a history of developing cornerbacks, and they may have just landed their first elite corner at South Carolina.

Tennessee

5-star OT Trey Smith (0.9920)

Butch Jones didn’t exactly lock down the Volunteer State in this recruiting cycle, but he did manage to pull the top Tennessee prospect in Smith. The two-time Tennessee Mr. Football measures 6-foot-5, 310 pounds and will play an important part in protecting the successor to Josh Dobbs at quarterback. He’s an early enrollee and will get to take part in spring practice.

Texas A&M

4-star ILB Anthony Hines (0.9680)

Good luck finding a school that wasn’t interested in Hines. The Plano, Texas, product had 90 scholarship offers, but ultimately went with the home-state Aggies. The 6-foot-2, 222-pounder pledged to Texas A&M on Dec. 2 and enrolled on Jan. 17, meaning he’s already getting to learn the John Chavis defense.

Vanderbilt

3-star QB Jacob Free (0.8609)

At 6-foot-5, 200 pounds Free has the frame you look for in a quarterback. Despite only one other Power 5 offer (Louisville), Free was rated the No. 24 pro-style prospect in the class of 2017, which is ahead of pro-style commits for Missouri, Texas A&M and Ole Miss. Free committed on June 16 and appears ready to become a Commodore.
