According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, college football’s four best teams after three weeks of the 2015 season all reside in the SEC.

That should spark another exhausting SEC bias debate don’t you think?

Following an impressive win at second-ranked Alabama, Ole Miss has a 44.8 percent chance to win the SEC and a 16.7 percent chance to win out and finish the regular season 12-0 according to ESPN’s recent team ratings update.

The Crimson Tide’s title hopes drastically diminished with the early-season loss to the Rebels. ESPN’s predictor has Alabama projected to finish with eight or nine wins (8.5 wins-3.5 losses), placing the Crimson Tide fourth in this week’s FPI.

LSU and Georgia, fresh off convincing victories over division rivals, are placed No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. The Bulldogs possess the SEC’s second-highest chance to win the league championship at 32.6 percent.

Ohio State, No. 1 in Sunday’s AP Top 25 for the fourth straight week, holds a 28.9 percent chance to win out — the highest in the country.

FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.”
