Anthony Munoz joined the Dan Patrick Show on Monday for an interview that touched on many subjects.

The former USC Trojans and Cincinnati Bengals great was asked about his alma mater heading to the Big Ten in a couple of years. Now living in Ohio, Munoz said he went to at least one USC game a year and might be able to get to more with the move.

“Mixed feeling with that,” Munoz said. “For me I’m excited because now I don’t have to go out West all the time to watch a game. 2024 I think is when they start and maybe two games a year they will be out here.

“I can’t say I’m surprised. It’s about the money. Teams are going to conferences where they can get the most money. The Pac-12 is down a little…hopefully, it’ll help with recruiting for us.”

Munoz, widely considered the greatest offensive tackle to play in the NFL, won a National Championship with USC in 1979.

He was selected third overall by the Bengals in the 1980 Draft and was a fixture on the left side for the Bengals until 1992.

Munoz, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, was First-team All-Pro nine times and is a member of the NFL’s 1980s All-Decade Team, 75th Anniversary All-Time Time and 100th Anniversary All-Time Team.
