Never before in the history of the NFL Combine will prospects be trying harder to break Chris Johnson’s record 40-yard dash time.

Adidas is offering any NFL prospect his own island if they break Johnson’s nine-year record of a 4.24 40-yard dash at this year’s combine while wearing the 2017 adizero 5-Star 40 cleats. Johnson accomplished the feat during the 2008 NFL Combine.

Which exact island the apparel company is offering is unknown, but according to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports, adidas plans to ‘work with any NFL prospect’ that breaks the record.

Safe to assume adidas doesn’t believe the record can be topped this draft season? While prospects have always had an incentive to run as fast as possible to impress the NFL scouts and evaluators, this year a tangible prize will actually be on the line for each and every runner in Indianapolis.

In case you were curious, here’s a list of every SEC player heading to the combine this week. Do any of them pose a threat to the record?

The 40-yard dash just became must-watch television thanks to this promotion.
