Central Florida was one of just two schools, along with Kansas, to not record a single win this season, going 0-12.

It was long-time coach George O’ Leary’s final season with the team after a 12-year run that saw him bring the Knights unparalleled success, including a Fiesta Bowl appearance in 2013.

Needless to say, the program needed a splashy hire. Well, they got one.

Several media reports indicate that UCF has come to an agreement with Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost. It’s a perfect fit for a Central Florida team that had no pulse offensively this season.

The Ducks rank 6th in the FBS in both scoring offense (43.2 points per game) and total offense (548.2). Meanwhile, the Knights ranked 126th in scoring offense (13.9) and dead last in total offense (268.4).
