When a Louisiana recruit is looking into colleges, it’s not surprising that SEC schools figure prominently in the process.

But half of the 14 SEC schools will compete for the services of 2017 three-star WR Al’dontre Davis.

Davis named his top 10 schools on Twitter on Friday, and Mississippi State, Georgia, Tennessee, Ole Miss, LSU, Texas A&M and Missouri are all still in the mix:

The seven SEC schools will compete with USC, Kansas and Arizona for the 6-foot, 190-pound receiver from Lutcher, Louisiana.

247 Sports’ Crystal Ball projects Davis to land with Ole Miss, with LSU finishing second in the projections.

247sports.com has Davis rated as the No. 70 wide receiver in the class of 2017 and the No. 23 prospect from Louisiana.
