National Signing Day is on Feb. 4 and the SEC is primed to bring in another impressive haul of top recruits in the 2015 recruiting class.

In the next 25 days, Saturday Down South counts down the top 25 recruits either committed to the SEC or strongly considering SEC schools.

No. 19 Preston Williams

Position: Wide Receiver
247Sports ranking: No. 33 overall; No. 5 overall in Georgia
Committed: Tennessee

The skinny: Ho-hum: Tennessee has another five-star wide receiver committed for 2015. For Tennessee to go into Georgia and nab Williams is massive, and it mirrors how the Vols built their dominant program in the 90s. Williams is a big-time prospect, and many think Williams is the state’s top prospect, over No. 2 overall Trent Thompson. He’ll remind you of former Vol Da’Rick Rogers, with a rare ability and athleticism for a 6-5 player. He can go up in traffic and make the big catch, and he can also burn you in space. Williams is the complete receiver in this recruiting class.

Freshman projection: Williams will join an already-loaded Volunteers receiving corps with the likes of Marquez North, Josh Malone, Pig Howard and Von Pearson, and it’s basically a logjam. With North’s injury and Malone’s up-and-down freshman season, Williams could see action as a freshman. Tennessee has a loaded receiving position, but it’s never too loaded for an impact freshman. Now that Joshua Dobbs has solidified himself at quarterback, Tennessee’s passing game will be much improved in 2015, conducive for more receivers to work into the rotation.
