I’m not blaming the media so much as pointing out how the lack of transparency in football allows things like the Sandusky allegations to fester for years beneath the surface. And all of the vitriol and outrage emanating from the press in the wake of the allegations won’t do anything to change that. If anything, it will lead to even less transparency in the future.
